- Is the collaboration for enhanced insight and control over the electrical systems and power requirements at AI factories a real advance in existing technology?
- Will this collaboration result in higher market share for Schneider vs Eaton and other data center electrical equipment players?
- Do you think such a collaboration offers technology that is proprietary to Schneider and ETAP?
- Will such a collaboration result in higher margins (via higher prices) at Schneider?
Expert Interview
Discussing Schneider Electric’s collaboration with Nvidia and ETAP to create a digital twin for data centers
Ticker(s): SBGSF, NVDA, ETNI am a Senior Electrical Engineer (M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, University of Zagreb, 2008) with 15+ years of experience in critical infrastructure projects, particularly in high-voltage (HV) substation design, data center from small to hyperscale, both modular and stick builds, power system studies, and various remote control, SCADA and similar solution:
Data Center Expertise: Over the years, I’ve served as a commissioning agent and lead engineer for multiple hyperscale data center developments (up to 60 MW) across Europe. This involved medium-voltage design and protection, SCADA/RTU integration, and end-to-end testing and commissioning oversight.
High-Voltage/Utility Projects: I began my career with ABB, focusing on substation automation and protection systems, later overseeing full P&L responsibilities as a Local Product Group Manager. Since 2019, I’ve been contracting independently, providing engineering, commissioning, and advisory services to global clients.
