- I am Joey Henderson, a dedicated professional with over 30 years in the HVACR industry. My career began in the U.S. Navy, where I specialized in HVAC systems on nuclear submarines, honing skills in precision and reliability. After my service, I founded and successfully led two HVAC companies, establishing myself as a trusted leader. My passion for education led me to a 25-year teaching career, during which I also served as a technical representative and trainer for Carrier and Trane. I've held positions as Program Coordinator and Advanced HVAC Instructor at Midlands Technical College, and I've spoken at numerous conferences and events across the nation. Having recently retired from teaching at the technical college, I now focus full-time on HVAC consulting for contractors, manufacturers, and distributors, conducting personalized webinars and onsite training both domestically and internationally. Known for my dynamic and engaging teaching style, I encourage active participation and the sharing of best practices, fostering a culture of growth and development in the HVACR community. My expertise, backed by a current SC State Mechanical License, continues to drive innovation and education in the industry.
