- I have devoted my career to solving the pain points and excessive costs that have crippled the supply chain industry for decades, particularly in the freight trucking sector. As a veteran of both trucking logistics and software development, I have a clear perspective of both the massive inefficiencies baked into freight hauling as well as the massive benefits mobile technology can bring to trucking to the digital age.
- In 2014, I set out to develop such a system and LaneAxis was born. Technology has needed to catch up in the form of smart phones that could run such an advanced application but over the years the industry has slower continued to adopt new technologies in supply chain.
- Today, LaneAxis does not compete with any shipper, broker, 3PL, or Trucking Company. We are a technology solution. Shipment Owners add carriers from the public network and build their private network from the network. The platform contracts, negotiates, and streams communication directly to the network of carriers reducing costs and increasing efficiencies.
